This silver coin, a Denarius, was minted by moneyer L. Calpurnius Piso Frugi in 90 BC in Rome. It pictures the laureate head of Apollo. Apollo was the god of music and dance, truth and prophecy, healing and light. On the back (reverse) is a galloping horseman carrying a palm.
