The seal used to make this pendant features an hourglass with sand slipping by. The inscription reads: Attention au temps, or "Be Mindful of Time." It is a powerful reminder to live life to the fullest and cherish every minute with those we love as each moment is a treasure.

• Special Note: I purchased this sealing device in Paris when I lived in Europe in the 1990s. Part of a set of 16 double-sided brass seals contained within a decorative tube, sometimes referred to as an Etui set. An Etui is a small, decorative container for ladies of the day that would hold sewing supplies, cosmetics or other small items.
