Size Guide

A Rare 4 Reale - and a Rare Cobb Coin Company Certificate!

Please Note: This is an authentic 1715 Fleet Shipwreck Treasure Coin, and you will receive the exact pendant in the photographs and description.

One of the most famed treasure fleets of all time, the 1715 Spanish Treasure Fleet yields some of the most stunning examples of early 1700's silver Spanish "cob" shipwreck treasure coins.

Crudely minted cob coins - short for cabo de barra, or "from the end of the bar," each has it's own unique shape - and combined with the sea wear and stunning patinas, each is a small work of art!

Note from Robert: This is a stunning, high grade 4 reale, with a centered cross and a perfect curve on the coin to put an emerald. Really nice weight. Very hard to get this quality of coin from the Fleet!

Mel Fisher and his family began working the 1715 Fleet before they moved to Key West to begin their 16 year Search for Atocha. What makes this coin so rare is that it is a high-grade four real ( a rare denomination; less than 12% of the coins minted at this time were 4 reales), and that it has a Certificate of Authenticity from Fisher and his early Cobb Coin Company. This is true Treasure Hunter memorabilia - rare and valuable.
