Love tokens have been treasured since the 13th century... copper, bronze silver and gold "coins of the realm" were carefully smoothed one or both sides, and then loving (and talented) hands carved wonderfully detailed monograms, words or images into the smoothed surface.
Our love tokens harken back to the Victorian era, when this art form again became popular. Each of these small, precious treasures was carved as a token of love, appreciation and devotion to an honored parent.
